Tutoring with Atomic Tutor
Hi, I am a Maths and Physics tutor currently teaching at GCSE level. I have a Distinction-level Masters in Physics and I have tutored for over 250 hours as well as had several years of experience in the classroom supporting students on a one-to-one basis.I also have specialist experience with learners with additional educational needs such as Autsim Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).As a tutor, my tutoring style is firm but supportive, I firmly believe that doing is the best way to learn, so my teaching involves plenty of demonstration and practice work.I offer lessons from 4:00pm to 8:30pm on weekdays and from 9:00am to 5:30pm on Sundays, these can either be done directly via Zoom or via a tutoring platform called Tutorful. I currently offer lessons in both Maths and Physics at GCSE level for the following exam boards: AQA, Edexcel and OCR.For a detailed document outlining my tutoring policies, please view the following:
Direct Lessons
I offer direct lessons taught through Zoom. These will be booked through a booking app called Setmore.I offer a free 15 minute session to go over all the admin stuff and discuss expectations for tutoring prior to starting lessons which can also be booked through the booking page below, please book one of these before booking a full lesson. As well as additional free monthly 15 minute consultations for paying customers to get updates and feedback how a student is performing.Direct lessons are charged at £20 per hour of tuition. With an optional fee of £5 for marking outside of lessons. I will also offer discounts for tutoring groups of 2 or 3 students.
Lessons Via Tutorful
I also offer lessons via the online tutoring platform Tutorful, these are more expensive due to the commission that Tutorful charges, but are a good alternative should people prefer it.Tutorful lessons are charged at £25 per hour of tuition. With an optional fee of £5 for marking outside of lessons.
